Is this a bad coach or am I expecting too much?

I think a bit of both to be honest. I’m in a small town with only one gym so not really spoiled for choice , but what you describing is pretty much how our classes run, except our strenght piece is usually more structured/with clock on the wall.

I think warm up is a good opportunity to check in with the members, but strength pieces should be structured and supervised with feedback available.

I agree our early morning class is Mums and dads who have been training for years and sometimes they might be on a tight schedule so they might start the metcon earlier and Dash out, I don’t see anything wrong with that.

Is it possible for you to try classes with other coaches?
