Becoming a digital nomad?

Generally, you can enter the EU and stay there for a period of 90 days within 180 days. You can try this and stay for 3months to see how you like it and possibly apply for a temporary worker visa while you are there or after returning home. Certain countries in the EU I believe allow you to apply for a remote worker visa that can allow you to live there between 6m-1yr. Tax situation varies by the country, but some allow you to do it tax free because how they look at it is you are spending money in that country during the duration of your stay. You will still be responsible for paying good ol uncle sam, though. It will take some research but there is many websites of expats that supply alot of info.

I am from the US but live in Europe because I have a European spouse. Even though I haven't set foot on American soil in 2 years, I still have to send the IRS a check for my taxes lol.

The covid situation may delay certain types of visas. For example, I have done a working holiday visa in Australia and New Zealand also offers the same visa. But knowing what I know now, I would have chose NZ over AUS because AUS didn't return all the income tax and social security money that was deducted from my paychecks. Apparently they changed it the year I did my visa.

I think it is generally easy to apply for visas in columbia, costa rica, and other south American countries.
