The best high school teachers act like college professors. The worst college professors act like high school teachers.

I'm from upstate NY. I Had an English teacher senior year of high school. Mr. C. Everyone said he acted like a college professor. Everything by the book to a T. After the first day he had assigned seats to try and separate us trouble makers. I was given the direct middle of the room with an empty chair on all sides. Needless to say I gave him as much hell as possible. His class was first period and we smoked everyday on the way to school. One day I was late and couldn't put my coat in my locker or get my books on time. (Being late twice constituted detention by school rules which of course he followed) He asked where my books were I told him what happened and why and he proceeded to pick up my coat and give it a big wiff. He exclaimed "MAMA MIA!" We all laughed and he called down to the office and went into the hall so we couldn't hear what he said. I stood up and said does anyone have a problem with me being high right now? The room erupted. Next period I get called to the nurse. Where my friend Nate who drove us to school and was in class with me when this all happened was already there. She was a substitute (me and the normal nurse we cool) and I wasn't having her shit. She wanted to see my eyes, which I tried to avoid her inspection but she said "Oh yea his too" (she had already inspected Nate). So we are told to go to the office where the vice p and principle were waiting. We denied everything and when they asked why our eyes were red he said "I fell asleep with my contacts in" I said "maybe I wouldn't look so tired if I didn't have to wake up so early and come here". They had nothing and couldn't do anything so we were returned to class. Needless to say I smoked more than usual for that next week with Mr. C. In the beginning of the year he said you better not have more than 7 absences a semester or you will fail. I had 8 and when the final day came after class he said that I had completed all my assignments and was going to pass me. All I could say was "MAMA MIA"
