Tamura’s has the best general selection and pricing. That’s usually the first place I’ll look for a bottle.

Fujioka Wine & Times is also pretty good; the selection is still pretty good though not as extensive. But they do have more high end stuff in stock if you’re down to drop a grand.

Otherwise if you want to try Japanese whisky, Don Quijote is your best bet. They have an impressive selection of whisky as well (most of it hidden behind the customer service counter). But they do have the best Japanese whisky collection.

And you can forget Costco. Their stuff is of course pretty random. But they get some quality bottles in stock and usually for a bit less than you’ll find it otherwise.
