The bias is strong with this one

I don't understand why it's broken into two camps. Either you like or hate Lily. I like to hate Lily. What I mean is that is her character. That's who she's supposed to be for the show. It mimics real life.

We've all had that kind of person in our lives at some point, even if it was just one day. Someone who seems mostly nice and fine but feels they know what's best for everyone.

The whole point of her character is to be someone flawed. All of them are flawed in some way. You can like Lily and hate her actions. It doesn't have to be one or the other. Excuses don't need to be made. It's who she is. She's a mostly nice person who does some selfish shit. Big whoop! We all are selfish about certain things.

You can hate Lily, you can like Lily, but we all can agree that she's both a nice person but gets too involved in things sometimes. It doesn't have to be "oh she meant well so it's okay" nor "She did horrible things so nothing nice she does matters." You can appreciate parts of a character while also disliking things they do.
