A bit of a theory regarding the number of main missions + I counted that we have 46 story missions

You're a smelly asshole. How I could be a troll? I spent the last 4 months actively being part of the reddit MGS community. You're the motherfucker who loved the game and for some reason is active on the subreddit where people hated it, thinking everyone loved it aswell. Your attitude is just sad. I'm sure you didn't even play the rest of MGS in the first place, or just played MGS4. You probably are "that (stupid) guy" in real life. You love trolling, right? Fuck you.

You haven't proved this game is complete. A subjective opinion isn't valid. If I need to refresh your memory, so be it:

Quiet is a sexualized mannequin. The skulls has no mean in the story. A huge amount of "story tapes" are codetalker teaching me archea biology. No following of Chico nor the headphone on his chest. Ocelot doesn't fix with his character at all at the point that practically he isn't Ocelot. Kiefer Sutherland doesn't talks at all. Chapter 2 is in its majority rehash and exacts copies of Chapter 1 missions with practically none variations. Misleading marketing. Repetitive secondary misions and main missions that should be secondary missions. Useless cinematic that doesn't add anything to the overall plot. Plot without deeper message than PTSD is bad and you "created the legend of BB". Lack of outposts; you just go over and over again to the same places to Fulton new containers that are in the same spot as previously fultoned containers. Really empty areas between the 9 outpost you visit over and over. Huge casualization of Mother base respect of PW, at the point that you don't care about the soldiers you rescue. No final bosses. Sahelantropous fight is the most simplistic ending boss I've never seen in the gaming industry. The ending is playing the 45 minutes prologue again with just a variation that only takes 10 seconds of the overall time and without any gameplay variation. Empty mother base without any reward for searching around or walking through platforms. Cut making-off for the Collector's edition. Ending of an important arc cut from the game without in-game explanation. The launch trailer said "The ultimate story" and so did Kojima in an interview while the game plot obviously and without room for interpretation lacks of substance. There's no character development, and the majority of cutscenes are just action popcorn material.
