I saw that comment and you weren't passing judgement at all. He's defensive against anyone who questions his "theories". I didnt have a problem with FIB until the 3/30 stuff. I'm a very factual person and I can't stand to see people pass off conjecture as the truth. Had it remained in the realm of theorizing I would have been fine with it. Instead he chose to call his theories fact and proceeded to insult people who questioned it even in the slightest. Then I found out about all the "alpha" crap, that he was stalking Konami employees on social media, and how he steals theories without even bothering to hide it. Not many posters here may have been around back then, but at one point he also lied about cracking the Portopia code. I'm genuinely surprised people kept listening to his shit after that.

I don't have a problem with people who believe in the ruse. I won't pretend that I understand the reasoning behind it either. FIB is a special case though. He has a long history of duping this sub and he's never once offered any kind of apology. FIB has never wanted to be a part of the search as our equal, he wants to be THE ONE who solves it. He made a web site dedicated to the ruse that is packed with stolen theories, yet he named it FIB.com and doesn't give anyone credit there but himself. He claims Kojima sends him signals through twitter that only he can see. Once he even claimed that the ruse was pushed back specifically be he alone solved it. That's egotism in its purest form.

I genuinely feel sorry for the dude. I don't want to sound condescending (I have mental problems myself), but I think he has legit mental issues. That or he's a huge troll with absolutely nothing better to do. If there were the case then it'd somehow be sadder. There are so many better conspiracies to investigate than a ruse relating to a near 9 month old video game.
