Boudoir photoshoot tips

You're welcome.

Some other worthwhile reads. I'm kinda worried they'll freak you out, but I'd rather you be safe and aware than unaware. Disclaimer that most of the time you'll be with normal, non-psycho people.

Dangerous Personalities: An FBI Profiler Shows You How to Identify and Protect Yourself from Harmful People by Joe Navarro

The Gift of Fear by Gavin De Becker

Rapport: The Four Ways to Read People by Emily Alison and Laurence Alison - Despite the harmless title, it's written by a husband-and-wife team of interrogation experts who have tested these tactics on terrorists.

The first two books are help you avoid dangerous people. The last book is how to talk your way out of danger if it comes to that.

Another idea that popped into my head is to set your phone to share your location with a trusted friend or family member who will not be at the photo shoot. iPhone have a "Find my phone" feature, and Android will probably have something similar. So the authorities have a trail to follow if things go really bad.

To end on a lighter note, there was an episode of the new Magnum P.I. series where the good guys were tracking a serial killer. One member of the team who's a former thief and not a tough guy, spots him as he's about to get away. The team member jumps into the back of the serial killer's truck and dials his friends for help.

I'm paraphrasing the phone conversation from memory.

Jin: [whispers] Magnum! I'm in the truck with serial killer!

Magnum: What?! Why?

Jin: So you can track my phone and follow us!

Magnum: Why didn't you just throw your phone into the back of his truck and not get trapped with a serial killer?

Jin: Hey, I didn't have time to think!

Ha ha.
