I make a lot of money. I’ve bought expensive gifts or arranged expensive dates with women I’ve dated in the past who don’t earn nearly as much, and I’ve never expected them to try match anything in terms of dollars. I’ve done it because I care, because I can, and because I wanted to share some amazing experiences.

The most memorable gift I’ve ever received from a girlfriend in the past was a scarf she knitted me herself. I’m sure it didn’t cost more than a few bucks worth of yarn, but the cost wasn’t the point. The fact that she spent her time doing it and made my something unique and personal was incredibly touching and meant way more to me than if she’d spent thousands on some designer scarf.
