Brake pads/rotors replacement advice

First off, your car is awd so changing just the front brakes won't give you great results. As everyone else has said we don't know how to help you without looking at the brakes themselves, and whether or not you need rotors depends on how thick they measure out. You could start by letting us know when the last brake job was done. Don't try to do it yourself without proper tools or knowledge, that'll just get you hurt. Same with just letting them go the way they are. If you have a buddy with tools and real knowledge have them take a look at the brakes. Sounds like the noise you are getting right now might just be lack of lubrication on the contact points of the brake and if so it's not such a huge problem. The other possibility is metal on metal meaning that your brakes are past done and ruining your rotors. Having regular service done on your car is part of the deal and you shouldn't have a car if you are not willing to do the necessary things to keep it running.
