So my use case is a little different - I’m a DIT for film/television/commercials - but I arrive on set with a considerable amount of gear and it’s all got to be mobile.

There are indeed some off the shelf options, and custom solutions that you can commission from places like Bigfoot Mobile Cartsor custom road cases from the guys at Dinosaur Cases.

Those are good options but since I’m hand and wanted something custom I ultimately designed my own cart using both of those places as inspiration.

The frame of the cart I went with is made from t-slot aluminum extrusionsand then I installed 19” rack rails on large casters.

Most of my gear is rack mountable (or velcroed to rack shelves) but there is also a healthy dose of 3D printed adapters and mounting brackets for certain things.

I’m sure your use case is going to be different, especially since you’re planning to have 2 operators simultaneously but hopefully this is a little bit of inspiration.
