Protesters block the courthouse in New Orleans to prevent landlords from evicting people

Ok, good luck getting a bank loan/mortgage/private loan to buy a house from the bank/real estate company with multiple people that can't afford rent now.

I know 100% for a fact that every one of my tenants would be homeless if a real estate company/bank owned my properties, and that they are genuinely grateful that I've spent over a million dollars making their homes cheaper for them....and further, that not one of them would feel comfortable or economically secure in a co-op housing situation.

I cover maintenance, garbage, insurance, taxes, appliances, months of unemployment, etc....I promise you, it is definitely cheaper for my tenants to rent from me than to rent from a corporation or to own the homes themselves.....or even to do co-op. Equity is expensive, I put that money up where people can't. There is nothing wrong with that.

Why all of the sudden is the start up money landlords invest worth nothing to you? Or their hard work to be able to purchase a home and keep people under a roof? I spent a decade, thousands of hours of hard work, and hundreds of thousands of dollars investing in affordable rental properties....in order to provide affordable housing, like so many other people you are refusing to acknowledge.

Again, explain to me what is wrong or feudal about any of that? How am I exploiting anyone? What wrong am I doing exactly?

AGAIN, the real solution right now is a moratorium on all mortgages do that rent payments are not required. How is that so hard for you to see? If landlords go bankrupt, real estate/mortgage companies and China will move in and buy up all the properties....you really think they will be better/more moral landlords? Absolutely not.
