Everything in both these genres just got waaay too hokey. Like I don't even acknowledge henshin devices or morphers anymore, they're all just huge obnoxious monstrosities of ridiculous toys it's so unbelievable watching actors trying to be serious with some of that shit. There's a con video of some new yellow ranger who needed like extra time to do all her hokey ass movements to morph with her spinning morphing gun n I don't think she even finished lol. Power Morpher / Dino Buckler, unique legendary looking objects used to access power excellent with perfect simple medals/coins as a very cool individual accessory, timeless. Zeonizers very cool simple wrist mounted with very clever and aesthetically "satisfying" mechanical motion, a bit more high tech new gen for zeo oh powers. Turbo Morphers again very intelligent design but simple practical to the point, insert key rev engine morph no doohickeys. Astro Morpher worldy and realistic with code inputs, cleanest most efficient and practical design, elegant and modern. Black RX driver, simple clean almost royal looking no gimmicks. Faiz drivers, all except Delta with that half gun handle bull shit, cool functional dramatic futuristic but current tenchologically sound devices, perfect. KR Blade is BB when I noticed everything getting doohickey ish though they still had pretty epic devices. Hefty and realistic looking with the awesome grab handle flip thing. Only because I was still young like 16/17 I didn't notice the ridiculousness that "cards" would introduce to all these shows. College happened and young adulting started where only every so often I'd spend some moment checking google or ranger board for nostalgia. What do I see. Fucking nerf gun power Morphers , samurai swords with comically large spinning discs , enormous belt drivers with colorful plastic levers and buttons with drop in coin slots or collecting card readers that speak/sing/yell "baaaadadadada bum bum dadadada bababaaa" at you when trying to morph. Unsymmetrical goofy ass designs everywhere. I know being a kid at the time I got rose tinted glasses but legit NOTHING was as fucking hokey doohickey nonsense as it is today. Fucking flying bat emoji thing that fake bites your hand to morph. Fucking BeyBlade looking ninja star ages three and up ninja steel or whatever morpher. Remember the dragon dagger, that weapon could truly be fitting of a real world king/warrior/ruler etc , legit looks like something archeologists would uncover in a tomb somewhere in real world earth, not this fucking super soaker bull shit generation crap we have now.
