With Bumblebee flopping at the box office, will Hasbro hesitate on another movie?

LMAO.

Power Rangers 2017 isn’t Blade Runner. It’s like comparing McDonalds with a premium burger restaurant because they both dabble in burgers. In addition, every movie prior has flopped despite the first two being when the show was in the mainstream and this one after all the hype and 90’s nostalgia.

There was no excuse for the director and the crew to screw this movie up so bad that no one wanted it. Even if it got a better date, it would’ve flopped because it’s a terrrible MTV remake of the Breakfast Club while using the nonwhite racebending and a moment to imply Trini is a lesbian so Dean Israelite could hide from any criticism and pretend to be woke like other frauds.

Never talked about how good the movie is, just how “progressive” he tried to paint himself while drowning black token rainman for pointless drama. Zero nuance and tonal whiplash did all the rest aside from artistic failures on par with Godzilla 1998 that reeked of someone too out of touch with the source material.

It’s apples to oranges. That sequel should’ve been on Netflix or Prime because the original flopped and had a very niche audience to begin with. From what I’ve heard, 2047 wasn’t special either.
