If you could adapt Sentai suits into Power Rangers lore, how would you do it? (AKA if you had to rewrite SMF but still keep the Sentai-only suits, how would you do it?)

This is what the plots of the adapted Super Sentai seasons might look like. This outline includes the plot for every skipped Super Sentai season if they were retroactively adapted as full series.

Gorenger: Power Rangers Victory Force This group of Power Rangers did not use morphers, as the Morphing Grid had not been discovered yet. They would fight agains the Black Star Army, which is an international terrorist organization known for doing inhuman experience on captives. The rangers have to put on their suits themselves and have no extra powers.

J.A.K.Q.: Power Rangers Card Warriors They would be the first Power Rangers to be able to tap into the Morphing Grid. However, the technology at this time was primitive and the Rangers had to become cyborgs and morph in specialized capsules. By the time the villains appeared, only four cyborgs have been made, so there are only four rangers. A fifth candidate is found and joins the team as the White Joker Ranger, who has the powers of the other four. He also is the first ranger to use a morpher.

Battle Fever J: Power Rangers International Defenders The International Defenders are an offshoot of the Victory Force and use similar equipment (no morphers). Each ranger (except for the America Ranger) is an immigrant from the country his suit is based on). They fight against the remnants of the Black Star Army. The rangers discover a hidden hangar which contains a large robot. This is the Big Fighter, an early megazord. It is unable to transform or combine.

Denjiman: Power Rangers Electro Force This group received their powers from aliens that hail from Denzi, a planet near Eltar. They have the first transforming Megazord, the Denzi Megazord, which was another of Zordon’s early megazords. The megazord was developed using Denzi technology. They battle against a cousin of Rita Repulsa who lived in hiding after her cousin was captured.

Sun Vulcan: Power Rangers L.S.A. These were the first human-made Power Rangers with morphers. Unfortunately, only three morphers could be made. This team would also have the first combining megazord, the Mega Vulcanzord, which will be given to them by Zordon. This team would finish the job of the Electro Force and fight against Rita’s cousin.

Goggle V: Power Rangers Ancient Energy. These Power Rangers would use powers derived from ancient civilizations. They would battle against an group of villains who have been living in secret since ancient times. Their megazord would be based on the L.S.A. Rangers’ megazord and would be called the Goggle Megazord, as it was actually meant for a different team and was sent to the Ancient Energy Rangers when they were called into action.

Dynaman: Power Rangers Dynamite Battalion The Dynamite Force powers were created by scientists and are an improvement on the L.S.A. powers. However, these powers are risky and cause spontaneous explosions to appear. The Rangers learn to use these explosions to their advantage and intimidate the villains. They would fight against a race of aliens who live underneath the Earth. They pilot the Dynamite Megazord, which is made out of three vehicles.

Bioman: Power Rangers Bio-Man
Power Rangers Bio-Man would begin with a ship from Edenoi crashes into earth. The ship contains the Alpha-1 robot. The ship has five morphers that are synchronized to specific bio-rhythms. In the meantime, a man named Dr. Zadar is conducting an experiment involving cybernetic parts in a laboratory. Unfortunately, the experiment goes awry and he is fused together with the parts and goes crazy. He then creates an army to conquer the world. After hearing this, Alpha-1 tracks down five teenagers with the correct rhythms, and they become the Bio-Men. Their megazord is the Bio Megazord, which was the first megazord made on Edenoi.

Changeman: Power Rangers Mythical Blitz These powers would be made by humans, and the rangers would not have secret identities (like the Lightspeed Rangers). The morphers were made as part of Project: Mythical, a project that tapped into ancient, magic-like powers. The rangers would fight against an alien force whose main mission is to drain the earth’s energy, and could not be harmed by normal weapons. This team’s megazord is the Transform Megazord, which was made for military use but was modified to tap into the magic-like powers.

Flashman: Power Rangers Prism Flash This series would focus on five people who were kidnapped from the planet of KO-35 by a group of hostile aliens. Years later, they were rescued and taken to the planets in the Flash System. They get trained and are given morphers in order to combat their kidnappers. They then return to KO-35 after it is attacked by the aliens that kidnapped them. Their megazord is the Flash King Megazord, which was built in the Flash System, and they later get the Flash Megatrailer, a megazord built on KO-35. The cab of the Flash Megatrailer can transform into the Titan Zord, and can combine with its trailer to for the Titan Megatrailer.

Maskman: Power Rangers Lightning Aura These rangers are all students at a martial arts dojo. Suddenly, a group of monsters rise out of the ground and attack their city. The sensei gives them morphers and tells them that these devices allow them to channel their auras and become Power Rangers. They fight against the same group of villains as the Dynamite Force, who are led by a new leader. They have two Megazords, the Mega Maskzord and the Roaderzord, which were both built by humans. There is a story arc in which a former student of the dojo returns and uses a prototype morpher to become the Green Lightning Ranger. However, the morpher is unstable and gets destroyed.
