The fact is a sequel will just not happen for this movie

First ask yourself this why would the same international distributors / investors first of all help Saban again with a sequel when this bombed internaionally ? Saban can no way once so ever positively spin this

Second this did not make the budget back & not even the marketing budget & now Saban has to also likely pay back the theaters & other costs out of his own pocket since this bombed

Third a sequel can not be made cheaper either as with the budget this one literally had only had one real action scene & for more action & more spectacle a sequel needs a bigger budget

Fourth this will just repeat the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out Of The Shadows Box Office & that had a bigger budget & more action than the first one

Fifth & casts talk about sequels all of the time after a flop remember Dragon Ball: Evolution ? James Masters would not shut up about a sequel & a sequel was green lit but was never made

Sixth this movie was simply not the right direction for Power Rangers & the Box Office shows it what it should have been was Power Rangers in the tone & style of Avengers rather than Breakfast Club meets Power Rangers

& finally Hollywood has also now ruined Breakfast Club because they think all the audiences wants with movies focusing on teenagers is every thing made like Breakfast Club & now even Breakfast Club is ruined
