You know that you can have a P239 and not have the LEO version of it, right? Yours most like does not have a G at the very end of the model #. I think it goes clip size, last two digits of generic model name (for p239, this would be 39), ammunition size, finish, DAK or SA/DA, and then if it is for LEOs it has a G in it.

You are right, the story I linked was to the wrong gun. I am a bit fatigued at the moment, and linked the wrong article. Please give me a few hours so that I can get some sleep and then dig through my hsitory to find the ones that are discussing the 239.
