Semi-Feudal and Semi-Colonial state, same as India. As for Shi'as living there, I think they are very similar to Shi'as living in India. They are Pro-Iran and Pro-Iranian backed militias in the Middle East. Self-Flagellation and Ta'ziya procession during Muharram is a common sight. Black attire is a common sight during Muharram and Safar. My mother visited Quetta, Pakistan back in 1980s as a child with her family and she had a net positive experience there. Our Pakistani relatives still communicate with us. However, most of them have migrated to United States or Canada for economic reasons. Overall, I'd say they are nice and welcoming people.
