Can someone please explain why my turbines are not working at full efficiency? Some heat exchangers produce max amount of steam while others do not.

1 Nuclear Reactor will provide 40MW of heat, which is enough for 4 (10MW each) Heat Exchangers which can Power 2 (5MW each) Steam Turbines each (8 in total)(1-4-8 ratio).

You can put Nuclear Reactors besides each other (but all 3 heat outputs on one side must touch) for a bonus of 40MW per adjacent Reactor - so 2 Reactors besides each other can produce 80MW each (160 MW total - 16 Exchangers 32 turbines).

The heat pipes do actually reach quite far, you won't have any problems cooling your single Reactor with one straight heat pipe and the exchangers put besides each other and you don't have to use every heat output from the Reactor.
