Can someone please explain objectively to me what are the pros/cons of Segwit2x vs pros/cons Actual protocol?

Ok, but then you go on to imply one solution solves technical deficiencies while the other fails to solve them by using marketing.

They already are using marketing. The copied the bitcoin code, removed all links in the code, pasted in the links to their own companies, and are now selling it as an upgrade.

The ideas they have do not align with what's good for the customer. They don't want segwit and they don't want 2MB blocks. Bcash, which is an insurance in case segwit2x fails, already removed segwit and increased the blocksize to 8MB. Segwit2x will be no different. They have this easy solution (block size increase) to scale to VISA level number of transactions and they are going to need GB size blocks for that. Block size increase scales only linearly. That's like putting a cell tower next to each mobile phone.

They only think about this old fashioned existing use case of competing with VISA, but they can never address new use cases that are going to need another scaling multiple of thousands if not millions.

The block sizes they want can only be handled by large data centers. That's nice, because those have a reception and a phone number and are easy to reach by the government. Companies are notoriously bad at refusing government requests for backdoors.

I'm a user, too. I already have a bank, I already have Paypal. I don't need yet another one of the same.
