Imagine my surprise when a G rated movie’s opening scene is a car being murdered by the mafia.

Mater is tolerable in small doses in Cars. Who in the world decided he needed to be the protagonist? Yea way way too much Larry the Cable guy for one film.

The underlying film being a complex message about greedy alternative fuel companies/ big oil?

Pretty violent movie for a G rated sequel to a sweet movie about cars and the power or friendship.
