Cat vs. Coyote

I'm not responsible for your animal. You're responsible for you animal. Being responsible for a living thing means knowing where it is and what it's eating as well as keeping it safe. If you're letting your cat roam free in the neighborhood, that's pretty much the opposite of being a responsible pet owner. If are either unable or unwilling to responsibly care for your animal (including controlling its whereabouts) then you don't deserve to have a pet. I would say the same exact thing about a toddler and literally nobody would argue that, but somehow you cat owners seem to think that letting your pets roam around all day wherever the fuck they want to is acceptable because... reasons?

No, I'm not joking about leaving poisoned food out for pests and no, I'm not joking about seeing stupid cats coming by and eating it because their owners don't give enough of a fuck about them to keep them on their own property or within their own sight where their pets belong. If you're letting your cat roam free without a clue as to where it goes or what it's doing, don't cry if it doesn't come home because it's your own fault for being a shitty irresponsible pet owner.
