Change my mind: Convince a shy person to learn a second language.

No worries. :) I definitely think learning a language is still very beneficial both personally and practically, and you can probably organically or deliberately discover ways to enjoy it – whether through changing up the means of study/learning, or picking a language you have an emotional or enjoyable connection to.

But that can be said about any skill on earth, including organised sport which I just don't love enough to keep trying, after trying lots of things for decades (fat shamers can relax, I'm a skinny Asian girl lol). Every single skill is life-changing. I often think the moralistic language around language learning on this sub is unnecessary.

Related to sport/moving your body however, one last point: it's also a spectrum... You don't have to go all in. If it's that unpleasant for you, maybe just grit your teeth and learn the bare minimum necessary, if that's possible.
