People who has a job about language, how is your job? (is it worth, easy or entertaining?)

Translator and Product trainer for a database company.. I have started a little under 4moths ago and as I'm the only one with that role with the required language, it's a lot of work, a lot of deadlines.. I translate almost anything and everything short of anything with legalese but that is because I flat out refuse.

I have my own deadlines and a lot to learn, only get paid 40hrs per week, sometimes I'm working way more than this.. To be honest ifeel I have made a big mistake taking that job. My advice would be ask A Lot of questions during interview and specifically about when do they envisage employing more people with your language and skills so that you're not constantly juggling deadlines, including last minute 30page document translations, which always seem to be "for tomorrow" given to you at 3 or 4pm.

I'm already looking for another job as I feel they're taking the piss.
