Cheapest possible seedbox ?

Dude I made a list.

Literally the cheapest ever: VPSes (but they are unmanaged and you don't get any help at all basically). I searched up the more reputable ones and found 2 viable ones for $15 a year for 128 RAM: BuyVM and Ramnode. BuyVM marked my order as fraud (and wanted all this random personal info. Also there are a few bad reviews.). Ramnode my account was activated in seconds. Both BuyVM and Ramnode allow torrenting. Ramnode you have to throttle your torrenting to 20 mbps (2.5 mb/s) but there's a lot of good reviews. http://buyvm.net/openvz-vps/ Ramnode also has a 10% off at the moment so I think it's $13.5 USD for the lowest one (forgot the promo code but it's on low end talk) http://www.ramnode.com/

I installed rutorrent/rtorrent/nginx on my ramnode vps with this amazing script: http://www.torrent-invites.com/showthread.php?t=272986

Right now I'm using up about 29.24 mb of RAM (of my 512 mb one) (with openVPN, nginx, rtorrent, autodl-rssi) with 3 torrents running. I also installed other bells and whistles like ZNC, pyload. I don't know any linux but it was pretty easy and fun to do.

Downside to VPSes is that BuyVM says that they don't really care about DMCA but Ramnode will apparently terminate your account if they get a few DMCAs.

https://www.kimsufi.com/us/en/ Another higher performance VPS thing. 5 EU one seems to be never in stock (probably because of all the stuff that comes with it) and beware the setup fees.

http://www.seedhost.eu/seedboxes.php (5 EU) Which is apparently never in stock or something. But I heard that someone bought one yesterday and really enjoyed the speeds. Have no frigging idea how reliable this is.

http://pulsedmedia.com/free-seedbox.php (3.49 EU or 4.49 EU) Read around. I've had mine for about a month (4.49 EU/discounted to about 50 USD a year) or something with no problems SO FAR and my ZNC bouncer on it and connected to the VPN and stuff/tried out pyload/tinkered with it via SSH and it was pretty fun to play with because a lot of stuff is preinstalled. FTP speeds are fine if you multisegment it seems. However, other people have had issues from data loss and stuff like that, but I haven't been able to find something with that much storage/bandwidth/RAM for less. Except maybe on LowEndBox (but people ban torrent clients so yeah..... and signing up with someone who is a bit shady and might end up with a dead service is even more yeahhhhhhhhh.... ;_;)

https://swizards.net/cart.php?gid=15 Their representative (kclawl) seems to know what they're doing and is super helpful but I think this one's $6 so it's a bit more expensive.

https://justseed.it/ Uhhh I think this is more a leecher one with temporary storage.

There's this spreadsheet: https://spreadsheets.google.com/lv?key=t2BX8hMu6bCQOC8QSu3UM9w&f=true&gid=0 No idea how reliable or not. At least with the ones I've mentioned I think they've been about for some time. Also it's kinda scary to see seedboxes get struck off the list.

Free services (which are banned on private trackers): bitport.io, seedr I've tried out bitport (the free version) and it works fine if you want books and things off kat for example.

Also these cheap seedboxes that I tried tend to have relatively bad upload but you should be able to survive even somewhere hard like what.cd if you have the fortuity on jumping on those freeleech picks and don't torrent ginormous FLAC files.
