I think it’s less that the AI’s being used, and more that it’s being used AS-IF it’s something people created themselves. If you want to claim that the talent you’re showcasing is “prompt-crafting” (debatable), then just post the prompt on it’s own. Nobody would, because it would highlight how ridiculous it would be to suggest you’re somehow not just outsourcing the entire artistic process, and the fact most people posting there actively HIDE the use of prompts (the one part they claim shows their modicum of creative input) is very telling imo.

I could give the exact prompt to an actual human and got a piece of art back. If I then said “so basically because I came up with your prompt it’s actually my art”, it doesn’t make me an artist, it makes me an asshole.
