Chicago Blackhawks logo made of sand

The Chicago black hawks did name their team supposedly after the military. Though that doesn't change the fact that they didn't ask anyone permission, didn't check with anyone to make sure it was okay, and used just a general caricature of an "American indian" for their logo...which is weird since its supposedly named for a specific person that it looks nothing like. Then they proceeded to use it for commercial gain for decades giving literally nothing back to the community that it belongs to.

As an Indigenous American this is literally cultural appropriation.

Now the Vancouver Canucks, THEY actually did it properly.

Ita not virtue signaling, its a basic "don't be an asshole" situation.
