Childfree child therapist

I am not an expert, but in the medical field we do not consider someone to be a bad doctor for not experiencing all kinds of diseases or injuries. Doctors rely on their search-system to diagnose, similar to how one therapist may reach out for help regarding topics they may not be familiar with.

Likewise, when was the last time you asked your mechanic what car they drive? It would not be fair to assume they know nothing about your car because they do not own the same vehicle themselves.

I may not have a perfect analogy here but I hope you catch my drift & perhaps someone else could expand with a better example.

It sounds like you have been doing this job for a while & you know how various children operate, perhaps there is a way to still reassure your clients that they will still be taken care of.
