The colour shirt you are wearing becomes your lantern ring... who could you beat?

This one is one of my favorites:

What do these things make you, a man? A person? These are not things of a person or a man, these are things of the world, economics, my friend. I, myself, have received many accolades for my so-called ''intelligence", or whatever you like to call it. I won a medal from Duke for a perfect ACT score in 7th grade. Does it mean anything? No. It means nothing, and it means nothing to have any sort of 'qualification'.

You are very right in that intelligence lies within the grasping of the new, but you err in believing that you have held all that is possible yet.

Philosophy is an area of interest of mine, but not of Sartre or Kierkegaard or Descartes, but rather lies within the purview of Hegel, Jaspers, Nietzsche, and Heidegger to a lesser extent. Beyond that, the phenomenology of Jean-Luc Marion, Baudrillard & David Lewis. If the latter is the philosophy you find droll, I would be rather surprised and amused at that, not many can claim to have a working understanding of even one of the latter, let alone more than one.

As for the rest I can solidly say you believe a load of nonsense. You do not go beyond what is at hand, rather, you relish it and bathe in it. What you believe is a marking of a significant intelligence is quite the opposite, intelligence may be apt to use, but yours is of no significance.

See, friend, here is where you err where I do not: you place value in human achievement. This meaningless motion from one economic system of validation to another, depending on the leeches of the world to give you a good thing or a true thing.

How strange!

How amusing!

How bizarre!

As long as I have been on reddit no-one has learned anything of what I do what I do or how I do what I do. Please, consider this, how do I have multiple thousands of upvotes (let alone a motherfucking 'well-rounded' award) while simultaneously acting like a stupid asshole jackass? Because I am always taking the piss on reddit; it's not an intelligent place in my eyes, it's a place where people come to be viewed as intelligent. I certainly don't want someone on reddit viewing me as intelligent as that would mean they understood my intelligence, which would make me far less so. I hate the word 'intelligence' by the by, so I will stop using it, it doesn't have a nice ringing to it. I shall substitute 'le smart'. Le smart people on reddit don't really exist because they aim to appeal to the commons.

For instance, were I to post the philosophies or Derrida or Lacan or even something as simple as Lao Tzu or Mo Tzu, it would be derided as banality or stupidity.

And that is why I truly come to reddit, I intend to achieve a hideous reputation and then watch as, when I post texts from some of the greatest thinkers known, they shall be laughed at and made fun of, for the sake of spiting me! This, among other idleness which shall not be revealed at this time for posterity's sake, is the goal.

"Everything is water"! Hah! Preposterous! This le Damascius fellow (whom no one has noticed as being a reference to the last of the neo-platonists, yet) believes le everything to be le water! Le Damascius says that we never really touch anything, haha, but I am touching my le dick now so le wrong xD! I only hope one day to come so far that even posting the philosophies of Plato or Socrates, perhaps re-worded to avoid internet searches will even yield such silliness.

"So what do you think, now that you at least slightly know me?" I think you, like everyone else here, thinks highly of themselves for understanding what their textbooks said, finds themselves clever for outsmarting your average 90IQ baboon, and that ultimately your life is a farce. Yes, a farce. You live your life for the other, not for yourself, and you have knowledge for and of the other, and not for and of yourself. I want you to know that, have you made it this far, much like you said in your own diatribe, that I indeed read the lot of it.

My ultimate judgement of you is that you fail to strive. You fail to place yourself above others and offer a helping hand up, rather going around assuring everyone that the muck of life is acceptable. What you, and the rest of reddit misunderstands, is that a person can be a perfectly awful shit on the internet and get little more from it than smug satisfaction, robbing you of any meaning thereof. I hope you were not looking for answers, because you won't find any the way you think now.

Ultimately, if there is one thing I refuse to be, it's predictable, so have a quote and a nice day:

"The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself."
