There IS no plant based taurine. That's the core of the issue! I'm sure you can get some Frankensteins monster of an amino acid out of the labs that could help sustain the current levels within their bodies but it's not going to replenish them. If you're concerned about the facts both the ASPCA and Blue Cross have recommended against plant based diets for cats. What's more? They don't like that vegan garbage. I've seen more complaints from vegans whose pets aren't eating than I've had hot dinners. Dogs can adapt, sure, but cats are habitual eaters. Some of them will starve before they eat something they're not used to. If this rubs against your principles, then a cat may not be suited for your lifestyle, I'm sorry.
