You seem like a smart guy and I agree with your point to a degree. Just realize playing Devil's Advocate for something like this is folly.

If a man wanted to wear robes but go in full drag otherwise, he could and it would be a shitshow if somebody said he couldn't. If that's the world we live in, he should be allowed to walk in uniform if he wants.

There's nothing bad about military garb. The RIGHT solution here would have been a middle ground. You're welcome to wear full uniform UNDERNEATH your robes and you can snap a few photos with it open. We would prefer you receive it in robes. The undercurrent of this story is California hates the military/higher education hates military.

There's no way to know that's the case without more info but this is shitty that a 17 year old joining the military didn't get to show his excitement of the next step in his life, at his graduation, for some unknown agenda the administration had. They're high schoolers. For most of these tards seeing a guy in uniform would be a good reminder you can do more than live at home on your parent's dollar.
