its how reddit has always worked. subs go up in flames all the time. you clearly have ideals, the moderators have other ideals, universe doesnt revolve around you - move on if it is too big of an issue, keep criticizing if you somehow feel the need to waste your energy.

by the way, i dont disagree with your ideals, i just dont think this kind of discussion is ever leading anywhere; the damage is already done, mods will be bitter about this forever, community is now anti-mod, anti-sd forever because internet loves witchhunting nowadays, so dont expect moderation here to improve or people to become particularly dedicated (why the fuck would they, they're volunteering their time). you can hope on the mods completely giving the sub away, sure, good luck with that process though.
