Copying is not Theft

I've never felt bothered by piracy and this is coming from someone who makes software.

You pirate when you're young and poor and eventually you earn enough money you're willing to pay for software and games because spending $50 is worth the peace of mind of knowing that your computer isn't getting a root kit on it and you'll have access to updates and support.

Notice I said $50. When companies want hundreds to thousands for their software and have restrictive licensing on it they can fuck off.

The free market will set your software price because if it's too high, it eventually becomes cheaper for me to just build a sandboxed computer just to run the pirated software than it does to buy it.
