Sometimes there are hidden gems that hardcore fans know about, that you wouldn't find on Page 1 of Google. Or even Page 2 or 3, for that matter. I spent some time googling but found nothing. Despite the downvotes I did also get comments that were very helpful, and gave me recommendations Google failed to provide.

So the post was a success, I was just wondering about the downvotes.

I tried to make it obvious that sci fi is just a desire, and not an absolute. I guess I failed there >.<

That's cool, I just don't get why it's worth a downvote if the reader doesn't know the answer; surely you'd just move on to other posts? I do. Am I "redditing" wrong? :/

Doesn't have to be the main character. I just think they're really cool and I thought they were a popular character type. Nothing weird intended.
