Consolidated Reroll and Gear Advice Thread for Tuesday

No, don't gamble weapon until you have near perfect everything else.

  • Helm missing some CC, some meteor, and low int. Ancient helms and gloves will give you more mainstat than any other armor pieces.
  • Pants have life regen and are not ancient. You want armor.
  • Low Int, and less than 190 on boots.
  • Most importantly, you don't have an ancient source, and your source rolled like poo anyways. Source will be the single biggest upgrade for you, and you should spend shards here.
  • You are using frostburn, but the cold % eats a primary roll that could be defensive, and the cold meteor doesn't hit very hard anyways. The legendary proc is shit with wiz proc coefficients.
  • You could instead opt for an absorb amulet, cindercoat, hexing pants, TnT even. Even without sparker, TnT will help your damage considerably if you manage to optimize your Hydra APS. I'd go with an absorb amulet if you can find a good one.
  • Your amulet is trash, it needs a socket and CC, but don't spend shards on amulets or you're gonna want to cry. It needs a socket! Roll the FD into socket.
  • You only have 2 leg gems. This is huge - for any ranged Tal build, Zei is a must, along with Trapped. Since you are having survivability issues, I recommend Gizzard as your third over Tox.

To answer your questions about wiz using FR.

  • Yes, we're glassy.
  • Not as glassy as you are.

Your skills -

  • Take Force armor over pinpoint, your DPS should be just fine. This will help you the most.
  • Take Frozen Solid over Snowbound - this is your only survival skill.
  • Drop TP for Magic Weapon Force weapon. Get used to no TP.
  • Raging storm into wicked wind for more consistent pulls.
  • Illusionist into unstable
  • Try Blur over GC - at 40s your DPS should not be an issue.
