Hello, i tried to create a controling/tanking/boosting wizard with what i looted first : Halo of Arlyse and Strongarms Bracers. Look at it please : http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Lotib-2493/hero/54754391 (For the lazy ones.)
From here on, it is but a question about what i could do to upgrade my stuff. (For people who are courageous enough to Theorycraft : this is my stuff i thought out.)
-Pauldrons of the Skeleton King / Chaingmail / St. Archew's gage
-Krede's Flame / Aether Walker / Dark Mage's Shade
-Overwhelming Desire / Strongarm Bracers / Jang's Envelopment (didn't know what to put there else)
(PLACEHOLDERS :) Captain Crimson's Thrust / Illusory Boots
Spells :
Black Hole > Event Horizon
Mirror Image > Duplicate
Slow Time > Time Warp
Ice Armor > Ice Reflect
Teleport > Calamity
Frost Nove > Bone Chill
Passives :
Unstable Anomaly
Blur
Elemental Exposure
Cold Blooded
I'm maxing out at more or less 58.432k thoughness under 50% hp right now (2062-2340 elem res)
39.499k thoughness over 50% hp (1178-1337 res elem)
I boost 103% dmg (always if Black Hole actually procs with Strongarm Bracers) to 138% (mono) right now
On Rift Guardian : 73% to 108% because black hole won't proc ever
Max boost i can give at all time with what i thought out : 108% and mono : 143%
My wand needs to be replaced to proc elemental exposure / Boots : Ice Climbers / Legs : Hexing pants of Mr. Yan / Bracers : need to be replaced with lvl 70 Bracers.
Everything else is fine-tuned. Gems are what i thought about most i think, since i had to make sure none of my stuff actually blocked an effect. (Invigorating would have been blocked by Ice Climbers.) Efficacious Toxin to increase damage boost, Esoteric Alteration to increase thoughness, Moratorium to increase survivability (thoughness).
Next goal : full ancient.
What are your thoughts? Is it better or worse than WD? Is there anything i can change to give more boost to my friends?
My guess when i began was : Halo of Arlyse = Tanking. Strongarms = Boosting allies. Combine everything i can find to get as much control / tanking / boost as i can.
Lastly : do Black Hole actually procs with Strongarms Bracers?
PS : Sorry if it is a WoT or if my text layout was a bit off. I'll answer whenever i see a new post. If this is not the best place to post this, tell me, i'll move it to the right place. Again, sorry if my English isn't the best, i tried not to do any errors typing and corrected myself to the best of my abilities.
