Since you are flying in from Hawaii, I assume money isn't your biggest concern. Don't go cheap. Treat yourself! Get the seats you want once the season starts, don't wait until the same day. If you had the opportunity to go to multiple games a year, I would say wait until the same day since they are most likely cheaper. But those same day tickets can be risky. Try to find something in the premium section first row. PR4-PR6 or PR13-PR15 row one. Trust me, I have been to every game in a season when I was living in LA, and I have also been to one game per season when living far away from California. Don't cheap yourself out and risk an obstructed view. And whatever you do, don't waste your time at a clippers home game against the lakers. There will be way more Laker fans, and they love to bully you, trash talk, and chant let's go lakers the entire game. It's satisfying when the lakers lose, but if they win, you won't hear the end of it all the way to your car/hotel. Also, try to avoid back-to-back games.
