Not necessarily, it could devolve in to shit. The entire foundation of our "*modern*" society would be undermined. People would have to figure out how to make it all work but in the process there would be a lot of FUDDD and vying for power by psychopaths looking for control. We could also end up in a nuclear war. Most people are rather incompetent and distrusting so to expect everyone to come together and "rebuild" is pretty naive specially when you will have some actively trying to destroy anything from taking place. We are far too dependent on corporations and such. The food supplies we be destroyed if corporations fall apart. The same goes for power generation, medical, etc.

Since we have no true leaders nor do most people follow true leaders(they want hype, exaggeration, lies, etc) we will end up in far worse situations. Sure, over time things might work themselves back out but most likely humanity would just end up in the same bullshit cycle. The reason is that people generally are too ignorant to understand the root causes so end up making the same mistakes.
