My point was this: I do not expect the world cater to my feelings, or anyone elses for that matter. However...The world would be a different place if we thought about our words more often. Yes, even on the internet. I believe there is value in being purposeful.

I do try to verbalize this point of view. To emphasize the value of mindfulness. Because i think mindfulness might reduce the polarization and division in our society.

At any rate, that was the purpose of my question. To encourage people reflect on their choice of words. Not to tell anyone what to do, to control them, or to judge them. This is the footprint that i choose to leave.
