CT rating vs reality

So I'm not good by any means, but I think a high skill level of chess sort of combines tactics, positioning, strategy, etc. It's great that you have a high tactics rating, but if you never get a good position in your games you won't be able to use that skill.

This post is interesting to me because my CT rating is lower than yours (around 1600 rn) but (on Lichess) my classical and rapid rating are around 1750. Thing is, I only started doing tactics a few months ago, whereas I started reading beginner books almost a year ago. From those books I learned the basic principles (develop pieces, control the center, etc.). So what I think is happening is that you just need to work on the positional and strategical past of chess (i.e. where to put your pieces, having a plan in your games and not just aimlessly moving pieces) since those aspects of the game are equally important.
