Current Nurse Practitioner looking at joining up

Just as a point of order on throwing the word NP around. They don’t care they may not have a NP slot so you may be a regular nurse to get in. You don’t get paid anymore or any more prestige being an NP. Military pay is set by rank. So you can be making the same pay as a regular nurse. Not trying to be funny but unless you are a MD they won’t care about your NP. If your dead set or can’t live without saying the word NP etc etc, you could be waiting. Because they may not have a position for NP available or you may have to compete for that slot. You (may) have to come in as a regular nurse and then try to get that slot once you are in.

Anyways none of this stuff matters until you pass your physical. Until you pass your physical your just spinning your wheels wondering what if…. (And I’m not trying to be funny or offensive)
