How did you get out of the IB mindset?

hey man. Thank you for your advice. You are correct. It does take a certain personality to be in those types of jobs and I've realized early on that I am not one of those people. I've always found success at my own pace, it's just hard sometimes when you're surrounded by the best of the best haha.

My ultimate goal actually is to work for the government in some capacity. I've always veered towards public policy or social work. I come from a developed country and have participated in a lot of outreach programs aimed at alleviating poverty in marginalized communities I felt fulfilled doing something for people. I've been meaning to apply to the federal government but as I have student loans, the low pay is making think twice if I should head straight into the gov't right out of undergrad
