First time posting, long time lurker LOL. Currently 14+5 and currently on my 2nd antibiotic this month for a “UTI”. My urine tests have came back normal and cultures keep coming back contaminated for some reason. I’ve been having the constant urgency to urinate but the flow is stop and go but zero burning or pain just constantly feeling like I have to go 24/7 and feeling like my bladder is never empty. I’m on a strong antibiotic right now and take my last dose in a day (taken 7 days total), was told to take AZO with the antibiotic which I did and I still have no relief of this feeling. My OB office seems to just keep giving me different antibiotics and after looking into my symptoms myself, I began reading about chronic urinary retention and I’m wondering if anyone has experienced this? I’ve been experiencing this feeling for almost a month and I’m dying for relief. I called my OB today and she said that they want me to finish these antibiotics before they do anything else, I’m at a loss and this just doesn’t feel like a UTI to me at all.
