You just stated that Apple has a minority share of phones and vastly minority share of computers displays. But you're going to aim to deliver to an Apple spec because they're "the most common" which directly contradicts the facts you you provided.

Actually listen to yourself and consider what you're saying and how that comes across to other people. Does it sound like you're a technical expert? Does it sound like you're making fact based decisions? Does it sound like you're being objective and professional?

As a final note, the entire point of using a calibrated display (not "fAcToRy cALiBrAtEd") is so the material will look fine on a wide variety of uncalibrated displays.
