I’m confused about my dates and I’ve never tracked my cycle before. This is probably going to show my ignorance but I’ve only had like 2 periods in the last few years due to birth control. Anyway, my period was 1st - 4th jan, I put that into a tracking app cause we were actually trying for this babe. So the app estimated I’d ovulate on the 15th and my next period would be due on the 30th. We started consistently trying at the beginning of that week on the 11th. I was surprised to get a positive pregnancy test on the 22nd (exactly one week after predicted ovulation). I had been searching online and it seemed to say it’s rare(ish?) to get a positive test that soon after ovulation, would this mean I could have actually ovulated earlier in the week? I’m sure there’s no way of knowing really without me having tracked cycles, it just seemed I got that positive quite early? Going off a normal cycle it was over week before my expected period I got it. Or maybe this is normal to get a positive that early? I really don’t know! And even if I did ovulate a bit sooner, does that actually make any real difference when it comes to measurements/dating scans for baby?
