This has been such a whirlwind over the past couple days. I get the people saying calm down, we still can go for a slower rebuild. But I also get the people who are really upset because it felt like we were so close.
Imo it's still double or nothing on the stars. Zero point in trading for AD if nobody else is here.
I'm hoping for one of these 3 scenarios
If KD has a full tear, dont sign anyone and go for the slower rebuild
If he has a partial tear, sign two max guys, let KD sit out the year, and have the young guys play alongside All-Star no.2
sign KD on a partial tear, let him sit out the year, roll with the young guys, and try and sign AD in 2020 to go with a hopefully recovered KD.
I was down for getting AD to pair with a healthy KD/second max but KD losing a year makes that kinda pointless.
