(TW) We just found out that a close family member lost the baby they conceived through IVF. I am so heartbroken for them. She was due about a week after me and I was looking forward to sharing the news with her that we are also expecting. I was waiting until after her ultrasound to tell her just to be safe but now that we know their pregnancy won’t continue, I don’t know how to share our news. We will be seeing them at Christmas and I think I will wait to tell her until after the holidays because I know it will be a difficult time. Someone previously posted a thread asking for advice on how to tell a friend struggling with infertility but I can’t seem to find it. If anyone knows where to find that thread or has any advice for me I would much appreciate it.
