I've yet to hear anyone outside a small circle of folks applaud the actions or even give much thought to why they're there. In this particular case it's not an effective action. It's mostly some anarchists shit talking Democrats and liberals for not liking their actions.

Hell, I bet you could be more effective in generating positive awareness by having an 'Abolish ICE 5K/10K'. Raise funds for local non-profits geared to helping migrant families.

I'm all about some direct action if it will accomplish something other than awareness. Getting arrested or potentially ending up with life long injuries for awareness is a waste of human potential. Save that energy for better thought out direct action.
