Dauntless | 1.8.3 Patch Notes

I've barely played CB and can already tell this is the wrong direction for the weapon. It lost the fun combo, wounding is only on the heavy combo, chain pull will now be more clunky (always hate directional input + button input) it's the main reason I don't use the hammer because half the time I end up doing the wrong combo. If you're gonna make a light combo be the main source of momentum then why not give that split wound and stagger damage, or alternate wound and stagger damage and the last hit be a burst of wound damage? If your main source of momentum is not getting the benefit of the refresh by adding wound then what is the point of adding wound in the first place? Who the hell is gonna play CB to wound stuff?

Again I said I've rarely played CB but this makes me never want to touch them and I play the only weapon that does wound damage and and I don't play it for the wounding. Would CB be better if wounding gave bonus damage again?
