Days Gone, TLOU2, cancelled sequel thoughts

ND for sure had political themes in mind, so I'm definitely not stretching that. Not only representation in it's characters but also just complex portrayal of revenge and conflict is inherently political in contemporary America, whether or noth you're able to understand that. Similarly, even if Bend didn't intend to do so, they made a game in Rural Oregon (haven of white supremacy) with a white biker dude lead who's fucked up in the head but also loveable in a weird way. If you don't see the political aspects of these games, that's on you, cause I assure you the devs of ND do, and certainly the higher ups in Sony do (cause political themes in games absolutely affect sales and image of the company).

Again, if Bend's personal terms is fucking up a portrayal of rural Oregon in today's political climate, I absolutely understand why Sony vetoed the shit out of a sequel. Decency is certainly on the list, because a lack of decency is what turned many reviewers off to the story of this game. As a staunch leftist myself, I ask you of this, do you have any sense of the fucking world lol? liberal media? gamer gate? A lack of decency (which Days Gone certainly displays yet doesn't have to hurt it, cause it could be critiqued) is more than enough to tank a game.
